Two or three models in wood.
Two or three models in metal/plastics.
Some Design work. (Folios or exercises).
An S3 Test of Tools, Materials and processes.
Sometimes a visit to a modern factory / Industry .
Lots of fun making stuff.
S4 Course:
A final Project, usually in wood. 33%.
A final Design Folio – Professional Standard 33%.
A two-paper Exam F/G or G/C 33%.
You
are strongly advised to get your parents to buy you a Past Exam Papers booklet, with answers to study for the Final Exam.
They cost around £8 and are essential to getting
a good pass.
